Free training packs for early years professionals have been produced by I CAN, the charity that helps children who have speech and language difficulties, to give practitioners ideas for promoting children's communication skills. The packs, which include a video, booklet and wall chart, will be available to representatives from Early Years Development and Childcare Partnerships and their regional equivalents at roadshows around the country. The roadshows start in Lisburn, Co Antrim (31 March), followed by Llandinam in Wales (28 April), then Edinburgh (30 April), London (6 May), Birmingham (12 May), Taunton, Somerset (20 May) and York (2 June).
