I CAN Chatterbox Challenge

Pre-school children across the country are being invited to learn and recite a joke, song, nursery rhyme or story to raise money for I CAN, the national charity for children with speech and language difficulties. I CAN hopes nursery workers, teachers and other professionals working with young children will get involved in the 'Chatterbox Challenge' by calling 0845 130 3962 to reserve a fundraising pack. The pack includes a free tape with 'sing along' songs and a free Tesco Baby and Toddler Club Parent Pack, a guide to encouraging children's language development. Hints and tips are also available from the website www.ican.org.uk/chatterbox. Sponsorship money will help I CAN's work in its seven early years centres in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, plus another seven - including two in Scotland - due to open later this year.
