HOT CROSS BUNS. Ingredients:

3225g strong plain flour 350g unsalted butter 31/2 sachet easy-blend yeast 31/2 tbsp salt 31/2 tbsp ground cinnamon 31/2 tbsp ground mixed spice 31/4 tbsp grated nutmeg 325g caster sugar 340g currants 310g mixed peel 31 egg 3150ml full fat milk 325g plain flour For the glaze:

31tbsp full fat milk 31tbsp water 33tbsp caster sugar

Children's age: all ages

Makes: approx 12 buns

Preparation time: 25 minutes (plus one hour to allow the dough to rise)

Cooking time: 15-20 minutes

A Preheat the oven to 200xC.
