A previously failing nursery business is celebrating after a change of ownership in November 2020 and lots of investment has seen the group of three settings achieve Good ratings from Ofsted.

Founder and managing director of Hampshire-based nursery group Hopscotch Day Nurseries, Freya Derrick, said that under the old ownership, the settings had been ‘struggling with a lack of investment and management support’, resulting in poor Ofsted ratings.
Occupancy is now growing at the three sites, which are forecast to be full from September.
