Carers and parents of children with autistic spectrum disorders

Carers and parents of children with autistic spectrum disorders can learn more about autism, coping strategies and how to access local services under a new programme by the National Autistic Society. The Help! programme, which marks the 40th anniversary of the NAS, is backed by the Home Office Family Support grant programme. NAS president Jane Asher said successful pilots of the programme had established its central purpose 'to bring dignity, serenity and fulfilment to all those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and to their families and carers'.
