The Wheels on the Bus

Early years practitioners may feel they know this song inside out and back to font, but Britta Teckentrup's illustrated version is a lively and refreshing telling of a nursery staple. The illustrations are bright and bold and packed full of a wonderful menagerie of animals, both on the bus and in the houses, shops and offices that it passes. Cutout 'windows' in each of the pages gradually reveal more of the passengers and draw attention to the characters in the buildings.
