Auckland House Day Nursery in Liverpool has become a ‘Sun Safe Nursery’ after successfully completing the three-step accreditation programme run by the national skin cancer and melanoma charity Skcin – The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity.
Children, staff and parents have been learning about the importance of keeping safe in the sun. The nursery also keeps check of the UV forecast, ensuring children and staff wear sun cream and hats when needed.
