Early years teacher Amy Greatrex has won the Experienced Teacher Award – part of the Farshore Reading for Pleasure awards.
Greatrex, who works at South Wilford Endowed Church of England Primary School in Nottingham, won the award, delivered by The Open University and The UK Literacy Association, after adapting strategies used for primary pupils for early years children to encourage reading for pleasure.
