Hempsall's: Maximising parental employment

This is the latest in our series looking at all our roles and the many opportunities we have to support parents' economic and employment chances.

We believe there is much more that can be done to connect local strategies and services to support this vital social mobility ambition for children and families. This seminar will explore these ideas and learn from current example projects.

Seminar: Maximising opportunities: linking early years services to parental employment

Following changes to the early years and childcare entitlements for two-, three-, and four-year-olds, including 30 hours for working parents, and 15 hours for least advantaged two-year-olds, Hempsall’s has worked with providers across the country to examine opportunities for maximising parental employment.

Sharing best practice and real life examples of the work of key local authorities, children’s centres and settings, this seminar provides the chance to hear the experience of others and consider how you can maximise these opportunities yourself.

This seminar, from our social mobility series, will provide an opportunity to evaluate your progress and consider how what you are doing links to the Government employment agenda. A briefing document from Hempsall’s will crystallise current thinking and provide case studies for you and your delivery partners to consider.
