Risk is part of the outdoor experience, but children learned they can improve safety through awareness.
As part of their Forest School sessions, children at Footsteps Nursery & Pre-school in Walmley, West Midlands, took part in self risk assessment; recognising potential hazards such as stinging nettles, slippery logs and the fire circle.
