Childbase Partnership teams and families in 44 nurseries have raised more than £165,000 and 9,267kg in food donations – equivalent to the weight of two African elephants – to support the Trussell Trust, which is experiencing record demand within its food banks.
Childbase raised the money for its chosen charity through various fundraising activities, including Snowden climbing challenges, skydiving, sponsored walks and bake sales.
