Hawk offers apprenticeship programmes nationwide to people aged 16 and above, who are looking for a job as an apprentice or who are already in employment and want to gain vocational qualifications.
The success of its employer partnerships was recognised by Ofsted as key to Hawk’s success. It has a dedicated recruitment team which works with employers to help them select suitable candidates, and it also supports the apprentice through this process.
Ofsted also noted the outstanding standard of its teaching and learning, which results in confident learners who can demonstrate ‘excellent employability skills’.
Commercial director Crawford Knott (pictured above, far left) said, ‘We are delighted to have become the first independent private provider to get a Grade 1 for ‘Overall effectiveness’ under the new Ofsted Common Inspection Framework.
