Piccolo Music, which runs music sessions for young children and their families, has won silver in the Netmums awards for best pre-school activity in Newcastle.
The company, which was launched by two mothers 12 years ago, offers singing and music workshops for children from pre-school age to Year 6.
Co-founder Anna Scantlebury said, 'It's fabulous to get the recognition from parents, and know that what we do really is top quality and appreciated.'
On Saturday 14 July, Piccolo Music will be running free music sessions for children at the Mouth of the Tyne Festival, inside Tynemouth Metro Station in Newcastle.
