Stars Day Nurseries, which has 11 nurseries in the Peterborough region, is collecting used children’s coats and providing them to families who are facing financial pressure across the city.

The Wrap Up Campaign is being led by the Stars and Sparkles Foundation, started by Stars Day Nurseries in association with Stars and Sparkles CIC, which was established by the nursery group’s owners and directors last year after seeing the need for more community-based support in the area.

Stars and Sparkles fundraising manager Katie Clipston said, ‘At a time when families across Peterborough are facing uncertain times, we need to support each other.
