- Why did you take part in the 'Ejection Seat Reverse Bungee Challenge'?

Ten staff from the nursery, including me, took part in the challenge, organised by the Doctor Joe Jaffe Hospital Support charity, to raise money to provide life-saving equipment for the Cardiac Neonatal Baby Unit at Birmingham Children's Hospital.

- How did it go?

We sat in pairs in the metal cage, which was attached to bungee cords and catapulted to a height of 200ft in less than 1.4 seconds, which felt like forever. It was very scary and I wouldn't do it again, but it was for a very worthy cause. We raised around £600 for the hospital.
