Racial equality

Children and young people's views on how to build racial equality are being sought at a major one-day conference in Edinburgh organised by the Commission for Racial Equality and supported by the Scottish Executive. The conference, Equal Futures, to be held on 27 November, is for all those working with children and young people, including pre-schools, nurseries and out-of-school clubs. It will be attended by planners, policy makers and practitioners with the aim of challenging assumptions and exchanging models of good practice to promote equality and citizenship. For information or to book a place contact Radha Singh on 0131 222 2438.
