Children from ABC Early Learning and Childcare Centre in Staffordshire dressed as Australian surfers, Spanish senoritas and Frenchmen for their 'people from around the world' topic. They also tasted typical food and listened to traditional music from different cultures.

FORTY YEARS ON

Countesthorpe College Day Nursery in Leicestershire celebrated its 40th anniversary with a bear hunt and a picnic for children and staff. During the event, the children also helped make a commemorative plaque that will be displayed on the premises.

CARING FOR BABIES

Little Tinkers Private Day Nurseries in Hipperholme and Brighouse, Calderdale, West Yorkshire, held a fundraising open day to raise money for new equipment in the special care baby unit at the Calderdale Royal Hospital.
