Nursery World Business Summit 2016 - 30-hour pilots

Hear from the early implementer councils about the progress of the 30-hour pilots at the Business Summit on 8 November.

Early years minister Caroline Dinenage is to give the keynote speech (parliamentary business allowing), looking at the 30 hours free childcare policy, the workforce strategy and the revised EYFS.

A great programme of workshops includes one on buying and selling nurseries. There has been a flurry of recent deals, with experts expecting activity to increase as the big groups look to grow and some family-owned businesses deciding to sell in an uncertain climate post the Brexit vote.

Our workshop will be run by Mark Traynor, partner at HRC Law, and Courteney Donaldson, head of childcare at Christie & Co, who have been behind may of the biggest deals this year. They will be giving top tips and offering case studies.
