Nursery expands to meet demand for free hours

A Greater Manchester nursery owner is opening two more settings to offer more funded places.

Nicola Fluery, director of KidzRUs, a group of two nurseries in Salford, is to open a third setting in Media City this month, followed by another nursery in Irlam later in the year, also in Salford.

Both the BBC and ITV have studios at Media City UK, where there is also a large housing development.

The two-storey setting in Media City (pictured below), a former nursery with a café beneath, will offer funded and paid for places, as well as extended opening hours including Saturdays to accommodate for parents working shifts or outside office hours.
