NDNA launches third annual workforce survey

The National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) wants to hear your views.

All participants will get a chance to win £100 worth of online training

The charity wants to hear from nursery owners and managers about their opinions on training, professional development and issues affecting the sector, including the proposed National College of Teaching in England, ahead of the general election in May.

Stella Ziolkowski, NDNA’s director of quality and workforce development, said, ‘We are gathering evidence about the challenges the sector is facing such as workforce qualifications and recruitment.

‘This will help us support policy development and change by working with the Government to understand what it feels like on the ground.’

There are separate surveys for England, Scotland and Wales.

All participants will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win £100 of online training with NDNA, a set of sensory balls worth £25 donated by Hope Education or one of five box sets of Jenny Mosley’s Golden Rules books.

All surveys must be completed by Thursday 30 April and the results will be made public at NDNA’s annual conference in June.
