MCI, part of the Montessori Group, is now an approved centre for NCFE (Northern Council for Further Education) and will be delivering a range of regulated early years qualifications, including the NCFE CACHE Level 3 and Level 4 diplomas in Montessori Pedagogy (Early Years Educator) from this autumn.
Both qualifications meet the criteria for Early Years Educators required by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL).
Students will be able to access the courses online through the MCI’s virtual learning platform – the Holistic Online Montessori Environment (HOME).
Karen Chetwynd, director of academic quality and partnerships at the Montessori Group, said, ‘These specialist qualifications will connect educators with the Montessori approach, and we’re excited to see them develop a secure understanding of practice and be encouraged to promote positive learning experiences for children wherever they may choose to practice.’
