Orchestral musicians are to visit settings in a new venture called Bach to School, from classical concert series Bach to Baby.
Fifty concerts will take place every month in various locations aiming to give nursery and school-aged children the opportunity to develop an appreciation and understanding of classical music.
Bach to Baby is bringing musicians into nurseries and schools for the first time to perform a series of curated programmes aligned with the key aims of the national curriculum for music at EYFS and Key Stages 1 and 2.
Themes will include the four seasons, the emotions, the carnival of the animals and a tour around the world.
