Free training for early years organisations

Childminders and early years organisations are among groups to receive free copies of the NSPCC's largest-ever child protection training programme. The EduCare distance-learning course aims to help professionals recognise possible signs of abuse and ensure that they know how to act on such concerns.

The EduCare distance-learning course aims to help professionals recognise possible signs of abuse and ensure that they know how to act on such concerns.

EduCare is being sent to early years organisations, such as the National Childminding Association, the National Day Nurseries Association, Sure Start and the Pre-School Learning Alliance, for distribution to members.

It has four modules tailored to specific sectors. The first includes the learning materials and a short questionnaire. When this is returned for marking, trainees receive a free second module and questionnaire and the chance to complete the rest of the programme, including a certificate for 16 plus VAT.
