EECERA holds international online conference on Covid-19 and early childhood

Careers & Training CPD
The European Early Childhood Research Association is running an online 'convocation', International Narratives about Covid-19 and Early Childhood, on 27-28 October.

The move follows the postponement of EECERA's annual conference, run by the Centre for Early Childhood, until September 2021.

A series of five webinars aims to share actions, research and strategies that have been taken in countries around the world to support young children and families, and those who work with them, during the pandemic.

The Convocation is being chaired by Professor Chris Pascal and Professor Tony Bertram, and webinars include:

  • The new normal: system challenges
  • Perspectives of settings and staff
  • Perspectives of children
  • Perspectives of parents and family
  • Perspectives on pedagogy

The two days also include Q&As, networking and access to the latest ECEC research. There will be on-demand access to webinar recordings for 90 days.
