Successful applicants will train for two years to become early years educators, and, upon completion of the Level 3 qualification, will be guaranteed a permanent job at one of the nursery group’s settings. They will also have the opportunity to go on to study a Level 5 qualification to become an Early Years Lead Practitioner.

Two new apprentice roles are available at each of Busy Bees’ 350 UK sites.

Those who join Busy Bees’ apprenticeship programme between now and the end of March will also receive a £1,000 bonus on completion of their level 3 qualification.

Chris McCandless, chief operating officer at Busy Bees, said, ‘The early years sector is just one of those facing a significant staffing challenge in the wake of the pandemic. That’s why we’re making this vital investment now, to secure and nurture talent coming into our industry which will enable us to continue supporting parents whilst helping their children get the best start in life.’
