Busy Bees acquires Kent-based nursery group

Business Provision
Busy Bees, the largest daycare provider in the UK, has acquired a chain of 12 nurseries, bringing the total number of settings in the group to more than 220.

Busy Bees has purchased Kinder Nurseries, a group of 12 nurseries and nine out-of-school clubs in Kent and London, offering more than 1,300 places.

The acquisition will also see the nursery group take over the running of Meredale Independent School in Rainham, Kent. This will be the first school operated by Busy Bees.

Marg Randles, managing director of Busy Bees, said, ‘We are delighted to welcome Kinder Nurseries and Meredale Primary School into the Busy Bees family and really look forward to being part of their future.

‘Kinder Nurseries’ experienced managers and devoted staff teams will continue to play the most important role, providing quality care for the children in partnership with their families and we will continue to work closely with the management team to ensure the handover is as seamless as possible for the children, parents and staff.
