A co-ordinated approach to child protection

A co-ordinated approach to child protection is the subject of an All Ireland conference on 19 September. 'Beyond the Borders', organised by the NSPCC, the ISPCC, Barnados Northern Ireland and Barnardos Ireland, is aimed at senior staff in health boards, government departments, and politicians north and south to ensure that the varying systems work together. It will focus on an all-Ireland context of the vetting of people who work with young people, the management of sex offenders, child protection systems and child protection issues in education. For details contact Barnardos Northern Ireland on 028 9067 2366.
